MLD Architects in addition to building and renovation design, has specialized in roof design and roof consultation. MLD has earned an excellent reputation for diagnosing roof problems and offering solutions to these problems. These problems often also involve exterior waterproofing and coating systems. MLD has been selected as roofing consultant to the United States Postal Service for projects in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina continuously for ten years, and has been selected as roofing consultants to the State of Florida, Department of Management Services in 26 counties for five consecutive contract periods.
MLD Architects has designed the roofs for such structures as the Florida Supreme Court Building, the Historic Capitol Building of Florida, the new Capitol Building of Florida, the House and Senate Office Buildings in Tallahassee, historic post office facilities at Daytona Beach, West Palm Beach and Fernandina Beach, Florida.
MLD has completed over 200 roofing projects in the north Florida and south Georgia region.
